A hospitality operation runs on two kinds of paper: the pieces a guest touches, and the pieces the house works from. Both are bindery work. What we build for restaurants and hotels

Menu covers, check presenters, captain’s books, and guest directories. Sewn-edge and heat-sealed vinyl, turned-edge board, café-style and screw-post constructions, single to multi-view. Decoration is hot foil stamping, blind debossing, or screen printing, done in-house. This work is quoted per job — construction, material, and size vary too much for a published ladder — and the full product list is on the hospitality page. Quotes come back within business hours, with a physical sample plan for larger programs. Your die and your artwork stay on file after the first run, so the second season’s covers match the first without a new setup and usually without a new proof cycle.

Operations, recipe, and training binders. The manual on the shelf by the walk-in takes grease, water, and a decade of hands. Heat-sealed rigid vinyl with a 1-color screen print or foil stamp runs $15.95 each at 25 units, $12.75 at 100, and $9.95 at 500 on our published ladder, with two inside pockets standard. Ring size is an adder: a 2” round is +$3.00 per unit, a 3” round +$5.75, and D-rings +$1.00. Poly binders — extruded, lighter, cheaper — are the usual choice for training sets that get reissued every year; our poly ladder is currently a draft extension of the same market data, so we confirm poly pricing in writing before production rather than have you plan a budget against a number that may move. Tab sets for kitchen and HR manuals. Printed both sides, mylar-reinforced, three-hole punched with reinforced holes, and collated in set order, so a manager never assembles a bank at the desk. Multi-location groups. A group with eight restaurants or four properties keeps a standing spec with us — house cover construction, house binder in house colors, house tab banks — and reorders against it. Why restaurants and hotels order from a bindery

Most hospitality suppliers are resellers. The sewing, the heat sealing, the foil work, and the casemaking happen at three different shops on three different schedules, and the reorder six months later goes back through the same chain — which is how a reorder comes back off a different die than the first run. Here it happens on one floor, off one die, against one file.

The other half is freight and calendar. A menu changes and the covers have to be on the tables before the change goes live; a property opens and the guest directories have to land with the furniture. Kent is one truck day from Seattle, Portland, and the Bay Area, and we don’t add the transit days a Midwest converter builds into every quote.
